Sub-Zero, Wolf, & Cove Showroom

Located in Philadelphia’s Navy Yard Commerce Center, the luxury appliance showroom provides customers with an immersive experience around Sub-Zero refrigeration, Wolf cooking, and Cove dishwashing products. CBP Architects designed a flexible facility that enables visitors to view product lines, test-drive specific appliances, and gain inspiration from chef-led cooking tutorials.

The showroom displays appliances in three distinct ways. Along both sides of a central organizing spine, appliances are arranged in minimalist, jewel-box-like settings for unencumbered viewing of specific products. Encircling this central spine, a series of residential kitchen vignettes highlights appliances installed in themed spaces. The vignettes represent design and lifestyle scenarios in which the appliances can be used (urban loft, beach house, etc.), and include both indoor and outdoor kitchen settings. CBP Architects supported the identification and coordination of the vignettes, each of which was curated by a separate team of designers, craftspeople, and vendors. The third arrangement displays appliance types side-by-side so that buyers can easily see differences in size and features. Designed to accommodate large and intimate events, the showroom includes a multipurpose training room, a common area with comfortable lounge seating, and a studio kitchen for live cooking and product demonstrations led by a corporate chef.
