Ryan Rose

Architectural Intern

Ryan Rose joined CBP in 2025. He attends Drexel University’s 2+4 cooperative B.Arch. program while building professional experience. Drawn to residential architecture since he and his mom would drive around his Florida hometown admiring houses, Ryan was attracted to CBP for its affordable and market-rate housing that positively impacts communities.

A musician since he first picked up a violin at age three, Ryan attended a performing arts high school for music and is a classical cello and double bass player (his favorite piece is Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto No. 1). He also swam competitively for over a decade and is a certified lifeguard. As a result, he’s used to working on a team and seeking every opportunity to contribute.

“I lean toward the lower strings. They are the foundation of an ensemble. You have to be strong, reliable, and in tune. The same applies to a collaborative design setting. Even if I don’t play the biggest role in an architecture project, I always want to be reliable and working in support of the same goals.”

Ryan is a member of the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) and National Organization for Minority Architecture Students (NOMAS). He participated in the Lindy Scholars Program, which pairs Drexel students with middle schoolers for educational enrichment. Ryan’s twice-weekly afterschool programming gave him good perspective on how young people think about design. In his free time, Ryan plays in the Philly-based jazz band, The Serenade Lounge.
