Rickey Turner

Architectural Intern

A full-time architectural intern since 2023, Rickey Turner attends Drexel University’s cooperative program that allows him to gain valuable professional experience while earning his Bachelor of Architecture degree. Rickey’s skills in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp contribute to project visualization while his enthusiasm and perspective help shape project dialogue. Rickey previously held summer internships with another design firm and a community development foundation.

Rickey pursued architecture as a career because of an early love of drawing and was attracted to CBP because of its affordable housing work.

“I bring to the firm a determination to learn new things and excel in everything that I do.”

Rickey graduated from Philadelphia’s Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) High School and earned an Associate in Arts degree from the Community College of Philadelphia. An accomplished violinist, Rickey has played at the Kimmel Center with multiple orchestras and at events featuring Jazmine Sullivan and John Legend. He regularly partners with other musicians to perform at weddings and special events throughout the region. Rickey was born and raised in Philadelphia. Outside of work and school, he enjoys working out and listening to R&B music (GIVEON is a favorite artist).
