Mike Molique Assoc. AIA

Architectural Designer

Architectural Designer Mike Molique joined CBP in 2023 after earning his Bachelor and Master of Architecture degrees from Temple University, where his tree house wildlife habitat entry in the school’s design-build competition was one of three to be constructed on campus by student teams. Mike credits this experience and a high school mission trip to build a playground in Guatemala with giving him valuable construction skills and exposure that influence his creative approach.

“Understanding the hands-on aspect of construction informs decisions you make earlier in the design process.”

In subsequent design internships, Mike prepared construction documents, coordinated consultants, and performed construction administration for retail, residential, and restaurant projects. He also delved into emerging technologies, exploring how AI software such as Stable Diffusion and Midjourney can be applied to conceptual design and rendering.

Mike considers himself an intuitive designer, who enjoys thinking strategically about how each design decision will impact other factors in a project, and ultimately, how architecture can leave a lasting social impact. Outside of work, the Northern Liberties resident enjoys watching Philly sports – the Sixers are his favorite team – and taking every opportunity to travel.
