Griscom Street in Philadelphia, Pa., will provide 44 efficiency units to formerly unhoused individuals. The building will be designed to achieve Enterprise Green Communities Certification and U.S. Department of Energy Zero Ready Homes Certification. It marks a repeat collaboration with client and owner, Project HOME.
Nathaniel Hickman House in West Chester, Pa., will provide 32 units of affordable senior living on the campus of The Hickman, a senior living complex founded by Quakers in 1891. The project involves renovation of a three-story brick masonry building built in 1936, retention of the historic structure and brick façade, and interior reconfiguration to provide six efficiencies, 22 one-bedroom units, and four two-bedroom units. The project includes six accessible units and two units designed for residents with hearing and vision impairments. Renovations will be designed to achieve National Green Building Standard (NGBS) Silver Certification and Zero Energy Ready Homes Certification.
