CBP Architects has welcomed two interns for the summer of 2025: Pearl Brosterman and David Owe, Assoc. AIA.
Pearl holds a B.A. with double majors in sustainable development & design and creative writing from the University of Rochester, where she also gained a certificate of achievement in community-engaged learning. Her past work experience includes internships with a global nonprofit, a regional health research and planning organization, and an architecture firm. She also participated in the New Buildings Institute (NBI) Next Gen Program, which fosters future diverse building industry leaders. Pearl aspires to design zero-energy use architecture and maintains strong interests in environmental justice and public health.
David holds a B.S. in architecture & environmental design from Morgan State University, where he also won the President’s Award for Exceptional Creative Achievement. He has worked as a staff architect at multiple firms developing concepts for single- and multi-family housing and commercial buildings. He holds the LEED Green Associate credential and is a member of the National Association of Minority Architects (NOMA). In 2024, he toured the White House with NOMA at the invitation of President and Dr. Biden, reinforcing his belief in design’s power to make an impact.
Both Pearl and David attend the University of Pennsylvania’s Weitzman School of Design, where David is pursuing a Master of Architecture and Pearl is enrolled in a dual master’s program in Architecture and City Planning.
