CBP Architects congratulates Zephyr Martin, RA, on passing all parts of the ARE exam and becoming a licensed architect. In recognition of this achievement and for six years of contributions to the firm, Zephyr has been promoted to Associate.
“Zephyr joined the firm as a student intern six years ago and has become a treasured member of our team,” said CBP Architects Managing Partner Nancy Bastian, FAIA, NCARB, LEED AP. “She is an incredibly talented architect who has seamlessly transitioned into a leadership role. Beloved by her colleagues and clients, Zephyr continues to work collaboratively to redefine what it means to design meaningful homes.”
In addition to her project responsibilities, Zephyr has been a passionate advocate for housing affordability, developing award submissions and exhibit content to spur dialogue and action. Last year, her team earned an honorable mention in the 2025 AIA Philadelphia Stewardson Design Competition for their concept to address Philadelphia’s housing affordability gap. She also helped develop Crafting Home: A Collaborative Workshop on the Future of Housing presented during the DesignPhiladelphia 2025 festival, which will be part of Remake Learning Days 2026.
“I’ve grown so much at CBP,” said Zephyr. “I’m grateful to be part of an environment that encourages me to ask questions and rewards my curiosity. Over time, I’ve taken on increasingly complex challenges, and I’m proud to now be leading projects. I’m eager to keep evolving and contributing to the CBP team.”
Zephyr earned a B.Arch. from Drexel University. During her studies, she was ranked among the 2023 Metropolis Future 100 list of top design students nationwide.
